Congressman Bob Goodlatte wants an answer from the Justice Department on the status of the Jens Soering transfer case.
On Thrusday, he took his questions to Attorney General Eric Holder.
In 1985, Soering killed Derek and Nancy Haysom in Bedford County.
At a hearing in Washington Thursday, Holder said he's waiting for a decision from the state on whether Governor Bob McDonnell's letter revoking Soering's transfer will overrule Governor Kaine's decision to send him back to Germany.
Goodlatte says Holder should revoke a transfer, regardless of which Governor it came from.
