Reactor Incident Causes Evacuation at Dan Chem - WSET.com - ABC13

Danville, VA - Employees at Dan Chem Technologies were forced to evacuate Thursday after a reactor incident in the facility.

Officials say no one was hurt, and no chemicals were released outside the plant on Old Richmond Road.

The area was confined and workers were allowed to go back inside shortly after.

Danville and Ringgold fire departments were at the scene, along with state and local law enforcement.

The investigation is ongoing.
