Altavista, VA - He made 22 campaign appearances in 24 hours. That was the schedule Monday for Congressman Tom Perriello.
His blitz included stops in 15 different cities.
We caught up with him outside the YMCA in Altavista. During the event, a pair of hecklers questioned his support of the Healthcare Reform Bill. And they did not hold back on their criticism.
"We get a lot more civility, you know you saw a great crowd of folks here today who wanted to thank us for our work and exchange ideas and that's what we've seen," said Rep. Tom Perriello, (D) 5th District.
On the Southside, Robert Hurt met in a closed door meeting with local doctors. We're told Hurt will be campaigning Tuesday with Governor Bob McDonnell.
