Lynchburg, VA - Liberty University's Winterfest has begun and the crowd is bigger than ever.
Students from all over packed in to LU's Vines Center Thursday night to see and hear Christian bands and motivational speakers. They say it was so loud, the floor was shaking.
"It is definitely fun seeing the people come from the stage through there, touching people's hands, that really gets them excited and makes them want to hop up and down and have fun."
During the day, the festival-goers spent time at Snowflex. Some say there were so many people there, they ran out of rental equipment.
But attendees say it's about more than just activities, they say it's a time to learn about God.
"Other than Christmas it's the second best time to celebrate God because all these Christians get to come together and learn more and it changes lives."
Winterfest continues Friday and because Snowflex has been so busy, they are staying open through Saturday to get everyone in.
