Madison Heights, VA - A fire in Madison Heights had smoke billowing into the surrounding area.
The fire started just after 7:00 p.m. on East Rucker Street.
Firefighters say the house was engulfed when they got there and it took 40 minutes to get it under control.
Neighbors say four people lived in the home, including one who has cerebral palsy, but everyone made it out unharmed.
The cause is under investigation, but firefighters speculate a wood stove is to blame.
