Amherst Co.,VA – Two Madison Heights men are arrested for a gas station robbery on Saturday.

The Amherst County Sheriff's Office arrested 19-year-old Quincy Wilson and 20-year-old Blake Miller for robbing the Shell gas station in Madison Heights. A witness description of their vehicle gave the two men away.

The Sheriff's Office says the men robbed a busy gas station in broad daylight on Saturday.

The robbery happened around 2:30 p.m. at the Shell station. Investigators say a male suspect wearing a mask walked into the gas station, pointed a gun at the clerk, and demanded money.

Witnesses say the suspect then fled the scene, and got into a car on Seminole Drive. Investigators say what's so alarming about this crime is that the suspect did it during a busy time of day.

"They're obviously not worried about a lot to walk into a business, and see there's customers present to do something like this. It could have been much more serious," said Amherst County Sheriff L. J. Ayers.

No one was injured in this robbery.
