Backstory To Arielle Odom & Louise Pugliese- by Brian Damewood
Sometimes I’ll get comments from people about why certain details are left out of a report, or why we select one sound byte over another. On many occasions it’s because we have a limited amout of time. But there are instances where you question the credibility of a person’s story, as I ran into when interviewing Louise Pugliese and Arielle Odom last Friday.
The two women, now behind bars for allegedly abducting three foster children and taking them to Pennsylvania, have been on our news a lot recently. I first interviewed them last week when Pugliese was pleading for people to help find her three biological children, along with Odom, a family friend. At the time, police suspected the children ran away from their Lynchburg foster home days earlier. Pugliese no longer had custody of them.
Odom arrived at our station Friday afternoon and dropped off a flyer with a picture of the three children. She wanted us to get the word out that the Pugliese kids were missing. We told her we would interview her and Louise Pugliese later that afternoon. Before pursuing this story any further, I contacted Lynchburg police. They were investigating the case as three runaways, and told me to be weary of any unsubstantiated claims the two women may make while interviewing them.
During the interview, Odom and Pugliese claimed abusive family members had made threats to the children in the days leading up to their disappearance, insinuating someone abducted them. Odom also told me the children and their foster family had been at odds in recent weeks. Neither of those could be confirmed.
We aired an emotional story showing two women desperately searching for their loved ones, minus the juicy claims of abuse and neglect. I’m happy I avoided the bait.
On Sunday, the children were found in Pennsylvania. On Wednesday night, police arrested the two women, charging them each with three felony counts of child abduction. Detectives say the women had taken the children from their foster home, hid them in a Lynchburg hotel, then driven them up to a family friend’s house in Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania in the northeastern part of the state.
If in fact detectives are correct, and these two women are found in court to be responsible for this, it makes you wonder. Why would the two women who allegedly committed a crime, parade their troubles on television and post photographs of the children police say they abducted all over town? You would think they would try to lay low.
Police tell us it could be because they wanted to appear they were doing everything possible to find the kids, distracting investigators and our news department from the idea they were responsible for the Pugliese children’s disappearance.
You wonder who you can trust anymore. But as more details emerge, I look forward to reporting on this story. I don’t think we’ve heard the last of Louise Pugliese and Arielle Odom.

Dude: how did he make an illegal turn if you took the car and how would that be her fault. Also if he has a syspended license and previous dui how is that her fault. Finally he didnt oat rent for 2 months but she was rhere for one. Sounds like you are blaming her for things that a grown man did. Also he has some real intereating things to say about you

this is about arielle odom i meet her a few weeks ago she was staying at the beach on 16th st we hung out and she fed me a bunch of lies about being rich owing a really big business owing a harley davidson roadking then i went out of town and she started messing around with my friend then he moved her in to my place and Hannah when arielle sent u that pic of the room key yea she took it from my apt. she was kicked out of the hotel she was causing trouble and threw her out at 4am arielle also claimed my buddy raped her well because of her i kicked my friend out of my place and took the car i was selling him and made him and arielle walk because of her he did not pay me any money for rent and didnt pay me in two months for the car my is going to jail because of her he made a left turn in a no turn zone (3:30pm-6:30pm) someplace he would nt be if he wasnt with her now he got a driving on subpened dui related she has ruined my buddy's life i hope she is happy i dont understand y he is with her i dont kno if they will make it to lynchburg on monday

So obviously no one ever thought that I would ever see through Louise's lies and the mess she's made of my life and hers in many ways. I'm not here to defend myself or her or to fight about the many things being said on here that have no bearing to the case at hand. All I'm asking is that who ever you are, that has decided to use facebook and other means of communication to contact ALL of my new found friends and tell them lines of garbage, Please just stop. I'm minding my own business and making a life for myself that has been destroyed for a VERY long time. If you don't like me, fine, but don't run your mouth about things that are not even true. Unfortunatley I'm the youngest one on here...but I have enough sense not to air my dirty laundry all over the internet (even though you're all doing it for me), just wait until court when the truth comes out and then you will all have your answers. Until then, please keep to a minimum the lengths you go to continue ruining my life, I'm not involving myself in your business, none of you have even heard from me, so please give me the same respect. I thank you for all the things you've told my friends that in your twisted minds maybe true but you were not there...you did not live the past 8 years I lived. This is an open statement to Louise: For the past 8 years my entire family has loved and supported your and your children. We were always there for you when your own family 'deserted' you. Now you repay us with lies!! The things you are telling people now to vindicate yourself are absolutely incredible! My only fear is that someone may actually believe you! Maybe someone should ask your children when they first slept in a real bed - you and I both know the answer is when they were no longer with you! I remember your kids sleeping on the floor and on mattresses on the floor that we normally would see in a dumpster! Please remember when you spred your lies people may just start talking about what you are hiding! Now you and your family are calling innocent, uninvolved people to tell them 'your story'. Well, guess what, I am going to call just one person and you know who that is and they will be very interested in what I have to say.

OMG - she went one semester to CVCCC and then took one semester online at LU - I think we have all agreed that she told quite a few untruths - my only reason in being on this forum is becuase alot of people are trying to put the blame solely on her and I want to make sure she is not a scapegoat for Louise. BTW: When I met Louise 8 years ago she stood up to give a testimony in church and told about being raped repeatedly by her grandfather while her mother knew and did nothing - I think it is extremely ironic that years later Arielle chooses to repeat that same story.........makes you wonder who brainwashed who.............now that the children are in communication with the grandmother they are concocting a bs story to make Louise a saint and I will NOT let that happen.......I know way too much and that is not a threat - that is a promise.............

WYLTK you keep making it up as you go along and burying yourself. Pat and Louise really asked me for another10K. I purposely posted they only asked for 2K just to see if you would confirm that and you did. Just goes to show you dont really know the facts. So if the medical bills were 2K why did they ask for 10k You know nothing. We were there. All you know is what Louise is feeding you from jail as the facts. We victims lived it. We have the factsa and they are well documented and proven. So Mrs. Speranza or Pat or who ever you are its obvious what you are trying to do here but as you can see no one is being swayed your way. Louise and Pat knew all about the 40 plus cats and convinced me to buy the house any way and they would take care of it. They then used it against me to gain a bigger foothold over our finances. And what about HCI Mortgage company? Yet another scam. And you know what im talking about too!

I am done with posting on this forum. I love my child and I know she has issues and I know the lies that were told but I also know that she tried her best to keep those kids together. Louise did not get SSI until she was with the family so that money would have been hers. As for the food stamps and other money that went to feed 4 growing kids and keep them in things that they needed. I will not continue to debate with you because you have already been identified as Louise Sperranza and I know your agenda is to make your daughter into a saint. There were NO abuse charges against Pat when the kids first went to live with Arielle so he could have easily stepped up then if he wanted to. As could have the grandparents. I would have made room for mine. This will be my last post - I thank you for the good things you have said and I hope that the truth does come out. This issue is about kidnapping children and there are numerous witnesses to place both women in PA when the actual event took place so we will see how this trial goes. I do hope that Louise is able to get her kids back and that someone in her family does step up to help her. As for all these other things - we will wait and see what developes. I predict that Pat Pugliese will become the 'dark horse' in all of this - because he is trying to fly under the radar but his very large part in all of this will become evident when the time comes and he may just be the one in the jumpsuit.

NATALE DONATE THERE IS SO MUTCH MORE I WISH I COULD TELL U im honestly not saying these things to hurt you or attack you personally again i think you are a good mother... she never went to cvcc after a semester was over she applied for it but was not excepted based on teh facts of the charges she had agains her (child abuse ones) she had the kids tell you she did also had the kids say how great it was there and go as far as to tell you sh ewas going out with some guy diago and was going to be engaged to him the kids have relayed to me meny times that they never evan met the guy??? all the things that were said apout pat pugliese abuse molestation and louise and nick speranza about not loving the kids they like so many otheres were with held from th efamily for over a year and lies like the lies tyhat were told about you were spred. pat was on able to take the kids because of the molestation charges a gainst him and the protective order granted on false pretences louise speranza and nick speranza were un able to take the kids basded on their living space they only had 1 spare room and they were told not to take the kids because it would split up the kids we all wounder ware the money went bc remember she got over 800 dollars a mth for food stamps she got over 600 in child support from pat pugliese she got louise ssi which was 800 a mth she got almost 700 in money from the stae and i believe you gave her money too ??? ware did it go the rent never got paid?? again ther is so mutch more i wish you could see but it is out of my hands to tell you only the court can or an investigator an di wouldetn dare put it on teh public internet that would be wrong to do so

I know my daughter has told some bad things about me but anyone who knows me can testify that none of it was true and I tried my best to be a good mother to her. She never said she went to LU - she went to CVCC. She legally got food stamps and medical care from the state to take care of those kids which I was against her doing from the very beginning. I tried to get other people to step in and take those kids but no one was interested. She truly was trying to raise them and the state gave money to assist with that so how can that be illegal. The Puglieses never 'took her in' - she lived with me the entire time. And they had a business when we met them almost 8 years ago so that was not a new one. I know that she always considered them her family and those kids her siblings. I do know that her heart was in the right place when she tried to take on this responsibility of raising these children but she never should have had to. Pat and/or the grandparents should have stepped up to the plate and taken them. NO ONE would ever keep me from my grandchildren if they were facing foster care.

Laura: there are a few things we will disagree on. First of all I do not believe that Arielle and Louise are lovers. Maybe I am being naive but that is one thing I just do not believe. I also made my daughter have a drug test and she was 100% drug free so I know that those allegations are false. And I do know that Louise was very good to her mother in law. Pat was very indifferent to his own mother but Louise always made sure she ate and I did witness her carrying her to the bathroom. I remember one time Jules fell and Pat refused to allow anyone to call a doctor for her so all of the neglect you speak about may be attributed to Pat but honestly never to Louise. Those are the things I can speak about ....

I hope that you are successful with your lies Louise and you are able to get Louise her children back. Then they can ALL come and live with YOU! YOU can send money for the rent and then find out they are evicted! YOU can send money for the electric bill and find out it is turned off! YOU can buy clothes for the kids when they have none! YOU can take full responsibility for them and I will take my daughter and get her the help she needs and hopefully keep her as far away from your family as I possibly can!! I will completely wash my hands of all of them since I only tried to help. Not one 'victim' can ever say they met with me or had any dealings with me so my hands are totally clean. natale donate : u may think i to be mrs speranza but i am not i was also called out to be infact you. as hard as this is to believe your daughter whom u believed to be going to liberty college was never evan enrolled there just lied to you the whole way im sorry i know its pain full to believe but she just used the pugliese children to collect money from the state. Arielle is not to blame for everything and I am very aware of Arielles loyalty to Louise unfortunately even when it was completely illegal. Like someone else posted Arielle was troubled and impressionable unfortunately she stumbled on two bad adult role models which helped her to continue her moral journey south.. Unfortunately there was nothing legitimate about Louise, the mortgages or the investments. she is also NOT a license broker. How she got the jobs she did is still being investigated. Perhaps documents were forged there too but I have no proof of that and that is yet to be determined by the investigators.

Laura: I truly don't know anything about the real estate scamming. I truly believed Louise was a legitimate agent and she had 'hired' Arielle as her 'assistant'. Arielle did everything Louise asked her to do. The blame will be equally shared and the truth will come out. But it will not be a distorted truth perpetrated to make one the 'innocent victim' on here. If my child had any part in hurting anyone I am truly sorry. I also gave much money to the support of this family in VA when no one else would. And I am by no means rich and it was a real sacrifice for me. But I felt that this family had no one who would help them. The grandmother wants to get all involved now but why aren't these children living with her instead of in foster care. She wouldn't take them because they would mess up her nice house and her husband didn't want them. Now she is trying to blame Arielle for everything.

Hannah you and WYLTK attacked me for what I had been saying. Now according your's and WYLTK posts its all coming out that its all true, the drugs, rip offs, etc. I understand your position of wanting to protect Arielle and thats fine but look at the other side of the coin here. Others are trying to protect themselves and get justice for what has been done to their familys by these women. People have lost everything as a result of their business dealing with these two women. You can continue to blast me if you wish. Even though we are on opposite sides I do agree with you on one thing. The responsibility is 50/50 No one is to blame more than the other. One couldnt have done it without the other.

Louise and Pat were both the adult teachers and Arielle was the student.
They taught Arielle how to lie, scam, and steal by the same tried and perfected methods that worked for them for so many years.
Louise and Pat took an impressional already troubled kid and helped to mold her into exactly what Louise is today (a liar and theif) while simultaneously hiding behind the church and all those fooled into thinking they were honorable people.
They are all nothing more than hypocrites and liars. Now Louise and Arielle are both in serious trouble which will soon get even worse as the attorney general continues to investigate the on and offline scams and uncover more and more victims.
Its sad to think about all the legitimate money these women could have made if they would have used their brain power for good instead of evil.
Now its nothing more than a big blame game. So many lives ruined. So sad.

Louise will tell anyone who is willing to listen how much she hates you and you are no longer her mother. I understand your desire to help her becuase she is your child and you do love her unconditionally. But please remember that I love mine also and I will never allow you to put all the blame on one when the guilt is equally shared. Maybe both of our kids have some deep rooted problems that we need to address but the answer is not in blaming someone else. I know many things that Louise has done but I came on here to try and defend her and help others to see the good side of her. But you come on to attack and try to pass the blame and that is just plain wrong.

It is a matter of public record that Arielle was arrested once for filing a fake police report which, incidentally, was to help your daughter out of something. Everything Arielle learned she learned at the feet of your daughter and now you want to blame her for everything. Louise has almost 50 years of a messed up life and you want to say someone else is responsible for that!! Ludicrous!! Louise has told numerous tales about abuse at your hands and abuse at the hands of Pat. Granted Arielle apparently has told the same kind about me. But what remains is that your are trying to put the blame all on one with your statements of the host and the parasite. You can go to court with all your lies and cooerce the kids to lie also but the facts speak for themselves.

Where is your proof that Arielle was ever arrested for drugs, strealing software etc. And she was never in an asylum for anything. YOur daughter on the other hand has a documented drug history and has been implicated many times with not paying bills when she and Pat were a team. What about Louise's mental history with all the counselors that know about her tales about the abuse at your hands. What about all the lawsuits against Louise and Pat for the 20+ properties that they were in trouble for way before ARielle came to their house. You are in complete denial if you think Arielle is responsible for all of Louise's problems. Remember Arielle was only 13 when she first met Louise. Louise was the one with banking and real estate knowledge so who do you think was the teacher and who was the student. Louise and Pat said they were going to teach their business to Arielle and Chris but Chris wasn't smart enough to pick up on it so quickly. Louise told everyone how you abandoned her as a child, allowed her to be raped by her grandfather not to mention how you helped her brother rip her off and steal the family inheritance which was rightfully hers. its ammusing how ou could say she wasnt a lisenced mortgage broker wen infact she worked in a mortgage company in woodbridge nj called newstar mortgage (look in to it) seconnd of all children were hurt at ur property (read the news paper articol about it) the father Pat puglies and 2 hildren chris pugliese and tim Pugliese had to remove a number of stray cats so you could sell your property because it was hindering the open houses in doing so they got bit and scratched and were sent to the emergency room for a series of rabies shot which in fact did cost 2.000 dollors your lones were taken out in series as to finish the property yes u owned the property but u were employed as an employer and just that

We feel the pain here. My wife and I lost everything we had saved. It took us many, many years to save the money we had. The money was to be used to adopt a child since my wife and I were unable to have one on our own. Pat and Louise talked us into buying a house to flip with them they said they were professionals and we would all make money. They insisted we put home into our name. After the purchase things all went terribly wrong. They kept asking us for more and more money so we took out yet another loan. Then they said their kids got hurt on the property and asked us for another 2k in doctors bills to cover that otherwise they were going to sue our home owners insurance. To make a long story short. Louise eventually sold the home to another victim for some 40K more than its real actual sale value by working with another gentleman to falsley inflate the value using manipulated comps. (this has been confirmed by 3 licensed realtors not hear say at all) We lost over 20K our entire savings plus and it turns out Louise at closing pocketed thousands in proceeds from the home plus had 10K wired to her PNC bank account directly from this home sale while simultaneously telling my wife and I she made nothing from the transaction. We made 0$ She acted as the realtor for the buyer and seller and also as the mortgage broker for the buyer. (jack of all trades) We found out definatively she is not a licensed real estate agent nor is she a licensed mortgage broker yet she prentented and acted as both. As stated in my prior post everything has now been sent to the AG. Including the wire transfer bank records we obtained from the abstract office. Enough said. Ryan

Three different victims (and i'm sure there are more) were routinely told by Louise prior to them being victimized that Louise's herself was raped her entire young life by her own family members which included her stepfather. She also went on to say that everyone one of her children was conceived from rape. (all five kids) She also claimed she not only never had concentual sex with her husband Pat but with no man ever. She routinely told lots of people Pat Pugliese was a rapest and routinely raped and beat her. Do I believe any of this to be true? Of course not. She lied to everyone so they would be sympathetic to her and invest in her scams. Can I prove this was all said? Yes certain victims are willing to take a polygraph and I have email correspondance proof in my posession that backs up everything thing I have said here. There is a huge paper trail left behind by Louise. All were emailed from Louises personal email address when she lived in East Stroudsburg. Copies of all these have all been submitted to the authorities to show the deceipt and manipulation she and Areille are so capable of. The truly sad part is her family has no clue of the existence of these paper documents and what has been said about them all along behind their backs and im sure would be completely heart broken seeing this in print especially since the are standing behind her like a good family should. I have been made out to be a bad person here by the supporters but I am just a person who wants justice to be served not just for the abduction case but for all the victims who lost their life savings to her ponzi schemes and investment scams. Her friend Arielle also stated her mother Natalie would routinely pushish her by sending her to her grandfathers house in which she would be rountinely raped. Again the people who were told these things can and will take a lie detector test and pass. Louise also claimed her one brother died from drugs and the other brother Joe was coke head and she wanted nothing to do with him either. She also claimed her brothers screwed her out of some family inheritance many years ago and when the business was sold she got nothing. Its to bad her family does not really know her like so many of the victims do. And I don't care what you say about me or any thing you may come back with on this blog all I care about is the real truth and exposing these women for what they have done to so many which have ruined entire familys, peoples credit and well being. Investing is investing and yes it invloves risk, but scaming is scaming and that was what was done here period. We are uncovering more and more victims as time moves on and each one is being added to the pile at the attorney generals office in several different states.

Looks like Louise may be up to her old ways of blaming others for everything that goes wrong in her life. I guess her mother forgets how she was always the reason for all of Louise's troubles. The sad part is that Arielle truly believes in Louise and would do ANYTHING she asks. Remember the truth is known by many and others just may start making sense also.

This one tops the fico score scam big time. This one really got the feds attention. This one is also under investigation.
Tom at the FBI office in Pa is handling this one too. Wonder how many fell for this one?

So I guess we're to believe that this old man would rather have 16m for the oil than the potential 79m in reserves it really holds and he also wishes to simply give the land of 515 plus acres away free on top of that??? Which is worth 2.5m at current western, pa land prices and that's without a drop of oil under the ground. Give me a break! These two women are con artists pure and simple and are going down!!!!!!

Hey, I?m new to this group but I work with a lot of BIG investors and always have opportunities coming my way.
