Danville - G.W. recognized three football players who'll take their talents to the college level. Robert Lovelace and Travis Jones will play for Shenandoah University in Winchester, Jeremiah McGeough is heading to Delaware State.
Campbell County - Brookville has named longtime Bees assistant Marshall Schmitt as INTERIM head football coach for the 2013 season. Schmitt, a '74 Brookville graduate, has been a defensive coordinator under four different Brookville head coaches.

The Brookville Bees are trying to repeat as Division 3 champions and the Tunstall Trojans are standing in their way. Brookville will host the Trojans Saturday at 1 p.m. inside Stinger Stadium.
