Danville, VA - Danville Police (web) are asking for help in finding two girls, ages 10 and 12, taken from their bus stop Monday afternoon. Police believe the mother took the girls and state in the Amber Alert that the mother suffers from mental condition where she has heard voices to kill the children.

Danville Police tell us they are waiting on a search warrant to get into a home in the 200 block of Beavers Mill Road, off of Piney Forest Road. We're told a woman called police to say Jennifer Westscott is inside the house and will not answer the door. Stay with us as this story develops.

At approximately 3:15 PM 1/5/2009 Danville Police received a call from the 500 block of Keen Street that two children had been taken from the bus stop. The paternal Grandmother has custody of the two children and witnessed the mother, 43-year-old Jennifer Masters Westscott who does not have custody, force the children into a van and leave the scene

Police tell us they exhausted all resources trying to track down Jennifer Masters Westscott and her two daughters before sending out an Amber Alert. Lt. Scott Eanes says officers tried to get hold of her for hours by calling her cell phone and stopping by her home and her friends' homes. They now have warrants on file for parental abduction.

Westscott and the girls were last seen in a white 2000 Plymouth Voyager with Virginia Tag XTY-6374. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has been contacted and an AMBER ALERT issued. The children, Pepper M. McCadden  age 10 last seen wearing blue jeans and multicolored shirt.  She is Autistic   She is 48 inches tall 75 pounds. India S. Lovelace age 12, 52 inches tall 85 pounds, last seen wearing Black pants, light green shirt and a red coat.

If you see this woman, the girls and/or the van, call 911 immediately.
