Monday is "Track Talk" time on ABC-13 Sports.  And the Sprint Cup cars hard at work this afternoon in Fontana, California, finishing up Sunday's Auto Club 500 that got halted by rain Sunday night.

Jimmie Johnson had the lead when the race restarted at one.  100 laps to go, Michael Waltrip tapped the wall and spun out, he wound up 28th.  Six laps later, Ryan Newman brushed the wall in turn three but finished 10th.

30 laps left, Johnson won the race off pit road, beating Jeff Gordon to the line.  Carl Edwards, though, took the lead for good with 11 to go and he will not be caught, taking the checkers.  Carl Edwards celebrates the victory with his signature back-flip out of the 99 Ford.

ABC 13 myTAKE - What's Your Opinion?Carl Edwards, Auto Club 500 Winner - "If there's one thing we've learned, we've got to stay on top of it, we've got to keep working just as hard as we have.  There are very minor differences between cars that are winning these races and cars that are running fifth and sixth.  So we've got to just keep on top of it but it's a great way to start."

Carl Edwards wins at California with Jimmie Johnson second, then Jeff Gordon, Kyle Busch and Matt Kenseth.  in Truex, Junior finishes sixth, with Stewart, Harvick, Kahne and Daytona 500 champ Ryan Newman completing the top 10.  Brian Vickers took the 11th spot, with Burton, Busch, Ragan and Biffle rounding out the top 15.
