Time for our Monday racing segment "Track Talk." We're three races into the season. So what's the bigger surprise -- Carl Edwards winning two of the first three, or the Hendrick Dream Team of Johnson, Gordon, Earnhardt and Mears winless in the first three? Gordon was near the front with a chance to win, but with five to go, slipped up the track into Matt Kenseth, sending the 17 spinning, Gordon followed suit and would wind up 35th. Earlier, Tony Stewart crashed hard into the wall, his second accident in two days, injuring his right foot and ankle with tingling in his legs. Edwards rallied from a pit stop penalty and held off Earnhardt and Greg Biffle for his second win in six days.
Carl Edwards, Points Leader by 21 - "Then there at the end I was extremely nervous. I thought we were gonna another penalty for a tire that got away, but NASCAR (web|news) made a judgment call in our favor that, after looking at the tape, I believe was the right one."
Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Second-place Finisher - "I would have been glad if we had just run second under the green flag, no crash. We were in good shape, I was running good times. The red flags are no fun, I hate 'em. And I don't like the green, white, checkers and stuff. But it's part of the sport so you've got man-up when it comes time."
