Tony Stewart has made headlines the last few days, bashing Goodyear for the tires it provided race teams last weekend at Atlanta. Wednesday it was a much more mellow Stewart, working the ticket office at Martinsville Speedway.
Fans line up their seats for the Goody's Cool Orange 500 weekend which begins two weeks from Friday. While Tony worked the ticket office, 35 truck series drivers were working the wheel and brake, the first of a two-day test session for their race the day before the Cup drivers.
Kyle Busch currently leads the Cup and truck points races, although his loose, wide-open driving style has made some enemies on the track.
Kyle Busch, Cup & Truck Points Leader - "Colin Braun who got caught up there in the deal at Atlanta, I had no idea he had a flat tire. That was just mispositioning myself and him and we ended up making contact."
Stacy Compton, 16th in Points Standings - "Kyle is a wheel man, no doubt. He drives a truck or car or whatever extremely free. And with the tires we've got now, with the less horsepower we've got, you've got to run these things so free right now."
