Vassar Shoots TV Special in Area

You may have caught a glimpse of him in town surrounded by a camera crew. Country Music Singer Phil Vassar is back home in Lynchburg. He's shooting an hour-long special to air on the Great American Country network at the end of April.
The special will promote his current album Prayer of a Common Man. They're shooting it here, after Phil explained his roots to his producers.
Phil Vassar, Country Music Star - "So we just kind of talked about some of the places I came from and where the songs come from and why you write the songs and I said you know a lot of it comes from Lynchburg, it comes from home."
Also from home, a local couple's wedding is featured in the music video for his song "Love is a Beautiful Thing," which is currently a top 10 hit. Vassar will perform at Virginia Tech March 31st.
