Family Burned Out of Home

Investigators are trying to figure out what started a fire in Roanoke County that forced eight people out of their home. Fire officials say it started around 4:30 Wednesday afternoon. The house is located on Wiple Dale Avenue, in the North Lakes Community.
Five of the eight family members were at home when the fire started. Everyone got out okay, but the flames did some major damage to a room and also to the back of the home.
The Red Cross is assisting the family. There's no estimate how much those damages will run.
