An update on that large bridge fire – the deck of that bridge has actually collapsed on to railroad tracks below. Lynchburg firefighters are still battling the fire near the intersection of Park, Fort Avenue and Kemper Streets.
Not only are fire crews fighting the fire, but they're also dealing with a broken water main line. Now, Lynchburg's Utilities Department has told us the water main break is a pretty big line and there are quite a few areas affected. Right now, people on Memorial Avenue, Euclid Avenue, Langhorne Road and the Miller Park may be without water. Crews are working to get the water line fixed.
Also, Memorial Avenue, Euclid Avenue, Langhorne Road and the Miller Park area are closed to traffic. we'll have more on ABC 13 News Midday.
