Deadly Hit and Run

The Roanoke Police department is investigating a deadly hit and run. Around 11:00 Friday night, police say a car hit a person at the intersection of Williamson Road and Sycamore Avenue.
The driver then drove off. The man that was hit was rushed to Carilion (web) Roanoke Memorial Hospital, where he later died.
His name isn't being released until family members are notified. Police want your help finding who is responsible for this man's death.
They do have a description of the vehicle. It's a light color, newer model, four door sedan, possibly a General Motors car. It has front end damage. Call the Roanoke police department at 540-853-2211 if you know anything.
