Clues Sought in Shooting Death

The Amherst County Sheriff's office says they need your help in solving a homicide early Sunday morning. A 19-year-old Monroe man was found shot to death in his pick up truck. Justin Robert Baumgardner was found dead in his 1994 Chevy maroon pick up truck around 8:00.
Sheriff Ayers says Baumgardner appeared to have pulled into a driveway on Elon Road to get help, but didn't make it all the way. The Sheriff says Baumgardner had no connection to the people who live in the home. Baumgardner's body has been transported to the Medical Examiner's office for an autopsy.
Deputies are asking anyone who saw Baumgardner or his pick up truck last night to call Crime Stoppers (web) at 888-798-5900.
