We now know more about the man Amherst County investigators say shot a 19-year-old this weekend. 21-year-old Timothy Wright, Junior is in jail - charged with the murder of Justin Baumgardner. We talked to Wright's neighbors.
They say it had been a bizarre month for Wright and his wife -- at least from their view. None of them knew Wright very well because he moved in about a month ago. They do say Wright recently moved from California with his wife but the wife moved out of their Lipscomb Hollow Road home about two weeks ago. Since then, the shed is what Wright was calling home - according to those neighbors.
Tuesday night, deputies searched the house and the shed looking for evidence and the gun that they say Wright stole from someone to shoot Baumgardner. But they came up empty.
Investigators say it's too early to speculate on a motive, but we found some possible leads on Wright's MySpace page. The title identifies him as "Tim the ultimate Psycho Killer and master of death.” Neighbors say it's all a bit out of character.
Edward Lipscomb, Neighbor - "Last Friday he worked with his dad on this basement on the house they are getting ready to build. So I figured he was doing OK but you don't know nothing."
Neighbors also say Wright was recently in Iraq (web|news) with a branch of the military. But they didn't know much else saying he and his wife kept to themselves.
