New details in the arrest of an accused Amherst County killer. According to court documents, 21-year-old Timothy Wright, Jr. was not alone when he allegedly opened fire on 19-year-old Justin Baumgardner. A witness says his gun was used in the killing.

The witness told investigators he was in Wright's truck, when Wright grabbed his handgun, leaned out the window and fired at least five shots into Baumgardner's truck. That witness came forward the next day. The gun still has not been recovered.

As far as a motive, investigators tell us they are not finished with their questioning. We can tell you that Tim Wright has not admitted to the crime, so the testimony of the witness will be important. Investigators are trying to tie Wright to the scene with physical evidence. Shell casings and a black hat found at the scene are being tested against Wright's DNA and fingerprints.

Tim Wright will make his first appearance in court Thursday for an advisement hearing.

Services for Baumgardner have been announced. The public visitation is set for this Saturday, from 2:00 to 6:00pm. The funeral will be held Monday at 10:00am. Both events will be held at Whitten Funeral Home in Madison Heights.

I am a relative of Mr. Wright's wife.  I know that Wright and "victim" Davis have a history together.  I know that weeks before the shooting Davis brought the gun to Wright's home.  I know that Wright and Davis were involved together in shady "business" deals where they profitted from sales of stolen goods.

Davis claims to have been abducted by Wright.  They were friends, so this was no abduction.  How does it happen that Davis' gun was in Wright's vehicle that night?  Is Davis in the habit  of carrying a gun owned by his father everywhere he goes?  Davis stated that as they approached Baumgardner's vehicle Wright "grabbed the gun."  From this it is clear that the gun was not in Wright's hands as they were driving around.  Would not a kidnap victim grab an available gun (his own), aim it at his abductor, and free himself?e

How is it that a murderer, who is known by his abductee who can identify him, allows that bystander to get away?  How is it that this "victim" (a sheriff deputy's son) does not immediately call the police, or even his father, and report what according to his story would have been a frightening and disturbing event from which he happily escaped alive?

Wright's wife has knowledge of many details regarding the relationship between these two men.  Will ABC news contact her and learn what she knows, or is ABC News complicit with this "cover-up" snow job (as other forum comments have described the sheriff department's reaction)?
