Forbes Honors Gleaning

Forbes Magazine is recognizing Gleaning for the World (web) for its outstanding outreach efforts across the globe. The Concord-based non-profit is listed as the 12th most financially effective charity in the country.
That's despite Gleaning being one of the smaller non-profits on that list. It's the 145th biggest out of 200. But when it comes to using their money wisely, as we've reported, they are right at the top.
Funny note here, Forbes actually put this list together in November, but they never told Gleaning. They just found out.
