One of the teenagers charged in the I-64 shootings pleaded guilty Wednesday. 16-year-old Brandon Dawson entered the plea on five of the 15 charges against him. Seven other charges against Dawson have been dropped.
The maximum punishment he faces is detention until his 21st birthday. In March, several shots were fired at cars along I-64 in the Waynesboro and Crozet area. Two people were hurt. Dawson says he fired one of those shots and also fired at two houses. He'll be sentenced on May 28th.
19-year-old Slade Woodson also faces charges for the shootings.
