Worker Killed

A North Carolina man is dead after he was electrocuted in Brookneal Wednesday afternoon. According to Campbell County Investigators, 49-year-old Richard Goad was electrocuted while working on a sign at the Jiffy Store in Brookneal.
Goad was working for the Interstate Sign Company. The company is based out of Mount Airy, North Carolina. His body has been sent to the medical examiner for autopsy.
