Client Charged with Abducting Insurance Agent

A Vinton man is behind bars, accused of holding his insurance agent hostage. Police say William Leonard Green had argued with the female agent over his claim.
They say he then forced her to drive to the Nationwide Insurance Office on East Lee Avenue in Vinton. The woman apparently texted a co-worker in another office to say she was being held against her will.
That person called police, who arrested Green. He's charged with abduction, obstructing a law enforcement officer, and disorderly conduct.
