Danville fire officials and investigators from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms are still looking into the cause of the Long Mill fire Thursday. But they do think the fire was incendiary and was possibly caused by materials found on the site.
They are asking for people to come forward who may have information on how the fire started. The team was on the site Saturday investigating based on eyewitness accounts and early video of the fire that the fire originated in a large pile of deconstruction debris and that one pile of debris spread to cause the other fires.
If you have more information, please contact Danville Crime Stoppers (web) 434-793-0000.
