Gleaning For The World says 90,000 people are eating in storm battered Myanmar because of their efforts. Sunday Reverend Jonathan Falwell recognized Gleaning and the organization World Help for their humanitarian efforts. He also encouraged people to donate. Gleaning sent 10,000 dollars to secure a shipment of rice from Thailand to Myanmar this weekend.
Rev. Ron Davidson, Gleaning For The World - "Any help that we can get will help us do that. And I thank God that they are able to hear the Gospel and at the same time be able to eat."
Gleaning has also shipped blankets, water and survival kits. At least 78,000 people have died because of the storm.
