One Dead in Motorcycle Crash

A motorcycle accident claimed the life of a Dublin man Monday afternoon. Virginia State Police (web) say 30-year-old Michael Dale Andrews was riding southbound on Route 8 in Patrick County when he lost control after rounding a curve.
Police say he hit an embankment and was thrown from the bike, he was wearing a helmet. Andrews was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the accident is still under investigation.
