Appomattox Co., VA - More than fifty dogs and puppies taken from an Appomattox County woman's home are now the property of Campbell County.
Animal control officers seized the dogs from Robin Conlon's home last month, saying they had unhealthy living conditions.
Appomattox County Administrator Aileen Ferguson says it's in the best interest of the dogs and taxpayers to turn them over to Campbell County's shelter so they can be adopted.
