State Police are spent most of the day at an accident involving a tractor trailer and train. Right off Route 501 in Big Island, authorities say this truck and a CSX train collided. A CSX official told us the train was headed from Clifton Forge to North Carolina and the truck had just pulled out of the Georgia Pacific Plant.

He doesn't believe there were any significant injuries. The accident happened around nine Saturday morning. Crews from Big Island, Bedford County and state police were at the scene all day.
