Appomattox Co., VA -
Huge flames ripped into the Appomattox Auto Works building. We're told by fire crews working the scene that this blaze was caused by a lightning bolt. The storms helped crews control the blaze, but the Auto Works building looks to be a total loss.
Fire crews say the fire was exacerbated by chemicals used in the auto body shop. Four crews were called to this scene- Red House, Concord, Appomattox, and Pamplin.
