Bedford Co., VA - A lawn-tractor accident has left a man dead in Bedford County. Bedford Deputies say 62-year-old Donald Sexton died as he was operating his lawn tractor on Blankenship Road in Vinton.  Wednesday’s storms may have played a factor in the accident. 

Police say it appears Sexton was driving the tractor on a steep embankment when he lost control and fell down into a small pond. Sexton's son found him underwater a short time later not breathing. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
