The Weekender: June 12-14
Chateau Morrisette in Floyd has gathered up a number of wine cellars, breweries and chefs for a food and drink pairing trail. For $30 you'll walk to several stops learning which food goes best with the glass of wine.
Or take-in an open-air movie. This Saturday Amazament Square is offering free movies near the Riverwalk. This weekend is To Have and Have Not starring Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall and directed by the legendary Howard Hawks. Bring a chair and don't worry if it rains because it'll move inside.
And for those folks that can't leave the air conditioning, don't worry we have you covered. The Taking of Pelham 123 debuts Friday. Watch as two Hollywood giants Denzel Washington and John Travolta bring this 1970's thriller up to date.
