Area Man Invents Refrigerator Organizer
The FrigeMate helps people organize items on their refrigerator. Davis says he conceptualized the contraption while watching TV, and then brought the idea to DCC's Advanced Digital Manufacturing Lab.
Now, Davis says the FrigeMate is hitting the national market, and if it does well, has the potential to create local jobs.
"Hopefully the impact is as we sign contracts, get involved with some vendors is hiring folks. I think it's got the potential to start with 10 people on payroll and jump real quick from there," Davis said.
One thing Davis says he worked hard to do was keep his product affordable, at under $25.
