Mom Pleads Guilty to Lesser Child Abuse Charge

She had been charged with felony child neglect, after neighbors on Brunmore Court found her toddler wandering outside last November.
Light snow was falling and the boy was in a t-shirt and light pair of pants. Neighbors looked for his family for 20 minutes before calling police.
On Tuesday, a judge sentenced McKay to 12 months, and then suspended all but 20 days to be served on the weekends.
