Lynchburg, VA - A Lynchburg company is getting into the national spotlight for its opinions on the state of health care. On Tuesday, ABC News correspondent David Wright interviewed the president of Hurt and Proffitt, Bif Johnson.
The network wanted to go somewhere that the President had campaigned, in a rural area outside of the beltway.
Johnson says he has 80 some employees and covers 52 percent of their health insurance. He says something has to happen to change the system. He's willing to try anything. But he's not a big fan of government taking over health care.
“If there's a program that's put out there that puts a requirement that says the programs we're offering to our employees is not good enough, then we may be faced again, with increasing costs in our healthcare coverage," Johnson said.
The interview is scheduled to air Wednesday on World News with Charles Gibson.
