Lynchburg, VA - The Lynchburg Museum has a new exhibit, featuring several artifacts that have never been displayed in the Hill City.
The collection is titled, "Women in Transitional Times." It includes costumes, art, domestic items, and other pieces that help tell the story of Lynchburg women and their evolving roles in society.
Museum Educator Rachel Deddens says it's a story she's been anxious to tell.
"There are so many things, or objects- officially, I guess you would say artifacts- in the collection. And, when you have an opportunity like this to bring things out that may not have ever been exhibited before, this is that special opportunity to do that," Deddens said.
Admission to the Lynchburg Museum will be free on July 3 and 4.
