Amherst Co., VA - An Amherst County man, who crashed into a cab, has been convicted of attempted involuntary manslaughter.
William Roberson crashed his girlfriend's car into the cab on Route 29 in Lynchburg in January. He took her car after an argument at their home, but she jumped in to try to keep him from driving drunk.
Her two daughters also tried to stop him, but he knocked one off the hood and almost hit the other as he was taking off.
Both his girlfriend and the cab driver were hurt in the crash. Roberson faces up to five years in prison when he's sentenced in August.
