A Truther! Off, I forgot he was behind 9/11. Reagan too? And how about those cronies? Thank goodness everything is going according to plan. Good thing the Democrat Congress came in with a Pelosi-Reid plan to fix things in January 2007 when gas was at $3.07 a gallon. Sen. Warner continues to disappoint with plans like this for more government intrusion, while failing to support drilling or refineries. Obama is happy with these prices and has no plan, and McCain is at least starting to realize something should be done.

George W. Bush is the problem and has been for the past 7 years. His plan to allow 9/11 and the "never ending war" that would follow was not a chance happening. It was a long, thought out plan by Bush and his oil cronies that would in the long run result in a dramatic increase in oil prices. We are finally hitting that long run period and guess what, the oil prices are right near where Bush wants them to be. America - you have been duped again (Reagan was another one)

How Stupid can our government get? The problem is not interstate or highway speeds - It's road design. It's gridlock. It's too many flippin traffic lights that aren't designed to work in sequence.

Never mind lowering the speed limit for gas reasons - why not start drilling or building another blasted refinery in the US? You know, a refinery... Something that hasn't been built since the 1970s. Time to stop worrying about an eyesore 30 miles off of the Florida coast, or disenfranchising a caribou in Alaska.

If anything, why not look at better road design and RAISING the speed limit? Start modeling our roads after the autobahn. Less traffic fatalities on that road than US Interstates....
