After surviving a terrible car accident that killed two of her friends, a Halifax County teen is speaking out about buckling up.

Ashley Fuller - "Usually times when I get in the car, I don't wear a seatbelt. But for some reason that day I just had a seatbelt on."

18-year-old Ashley Fuller says of the 5 people in the SUV, she was only one who was strapped in. She says they were on the way to church choir practice when the driver lost control and hit a pole.

Fuller says when she woke up, all of her friends had been thrown from the vehicle.  She climbed out before it caught on fire. After living a nightmare, this rising senior hopes her peers will take the time to buckle up.

Ashley Fuller, Survived Accident - " I don't want them to go through the same situation that I did. Of losing a sister and a friend."  "Everyday I see it, like when I close my eyes, I see it, what happens."

The other 2 teens in the SUV are still in critical condition.
