Lynchburg Little League District Finals between the Jefferson and Colonial All Stars were held Saturday.  Top 2—Jefferson up 2-to-1 when Garret Price laces a double down the right field line. Trai Harris and Derek Jones score. It's 4-1 Jefferson.

It's now 4-2 in the 3rd. Babe Cooper for Colonial pops a 2-strike shot over the third baseman's head. Sam Ailsworth strolls in from third and it's a 4-3 ball game.

Top 4—Jefferson gets a run back. Tyler Ross gets in a pickle but the throw gets away and Ross flies home to make it 5-3. A lot more runs were scored in this one but Jefferson wins it 15-to-14. They're heading to the state tournament July 18th.
