Advance Auto Adding & Moving Jobs

Advance Auto Parts is moving 40 jobs from its Roanoke headquarters to a new regional office in Minneapolis. Company officials are quick to point out this does not mean that the Roanoke-based company has any intention of leaving the Star City.
In fact, we're told Advance is adding 12 new jobs to their merchandising department in Roanoke. A spokesperson tell us the moves will help the company grow in Roanoke and nationwide. Advance Auto Parts employs 1,600 people in the Star City.
