A big honor for the Virginia agencies who worked together to find a kidnapped four-year-old boy. The National Lost Center for Children and Families gave plaques to the Giles County Sheriff's Office, Pearisburg Police, State Police and the US Marshal's Service.
Last month, they worked together to find the boy and arrest his father, 45-year old Robert Custer of Pearisburg. Police say Custer locked his estranged wife in a gas station bathroom in South Carolina and took their son to Virginia. But he didn't get far.
Custer is in the New River Valley Regional Jail.
