It's a big night at the Roanoke Civic Center, Opening Ceremonies for the Coventry Commonwealth Games, now in their 19th year. These Games are known as Virginia's Olympics, and through the years have attracted more than 152,000 athletes.
Opening Ceremonies will include the Parade of Athletes, pyrotechnics, lighting of the cauldron and more. And athletes and spectators will get to hear from Survivor: Africa winner Ethan Zohn, a former pro soccer player who's now heading up a movement to end HIV and AIDS in Africa.
Ethan Zohn, Survivor: Africa Winner - "Growing up in a sports community has been a gift to me. And granted, you know, winning is great, losing isn't so great, but sports can help you off the field as well. You know through sports I was able to start this charity and save hundreds of thousands of lives."
