Danville, VA -
Former 5th District Representative Virgil Goode (web) took the stage in Danville Saturday as keynote speaker at the Tax Enough Already rally. Goode found himself bombarded by questions about his plans for the future, and pleas that he make a run for his old seat now held by Democrat Congressman Tom Perriello. ABC 13 caught up with Goode after his speech to see what he thought of all that feedback.
Virgil Goode, (R) Former 5th District Congressman - "My wife and I are looking at the situation and, hopefully, we'll make a decision before too long. Whether I run or don't, though, I'm committed to this cause and the cause of good solid government."
Goode represented Virginia's Fifth District for six terms. He lost the seat last November to Tom Perriello, by fewer than 800 votes.
