We check in at Brookville for our "Football Friday" preview. The Bees come into this season with high expectations and lots of confidence, winning seven straight games and a region title before falling in the state semifinals.

And the great news for the Bees, they return nine starters on offense, including highly-recruited quarterback and safety Logan Thomas, plus nine starters on defense. Brookville should see what it's made of early, opening at two-time defending state champ Amherst County two weeks from Friday, then traveling to Salem in Week 3.

Jeff Woody, Fourth-year Bees Head Coach - "We look forward to playing those two teams. It's a test to see how good we're going to be. We also know that playing those two games, if we lose, we'll be in good shape. If we win, we can use that as momentum. But our focus is the 10-week season."

Logan Thomas, Bees Senior Quarterback/Safety - "We've got a lot of speed, a lot of strength. We've got a bunch of different people that we can look to, to get the ball to, to score."

Stacey Houston, Bees Senior RB/LB - "You've got to expect big things. We've got the potential out here. Brookville, we're known for physical football, we're known for pounding the rock, now we've got a little speed to go with that."
