A modern day Bonnie and Clyde are behind bars. Police in Pittsylvania County held a press conference Tuesday to say they've arrested a couple behind a rash of break-ins.
Officials from Pittsylvania, Caswell and Person Counties say 20-year-old Timothy Nichols and 21-year-old Jessica Richardson, from Leasburg, North Carolina, were arrested and charged with breaking into several homes across the border. During the investigation, authorities say they found stolen property that was traced back to the pair.
Sheriff Mike Taylor, Pittsylvania County - "Talking with one another, communicating with each other, putting the pieces of the puzzle together so to speak, to bring it to a successful conclusion."
Police say many have already claimed their missing belongings. But that there are some who may be on vacation and have not yet realized their homes were broken into.
