Myrtle Beach, SC -
Myrtle Beach police are dealing with the second drowning in one week. The latest is a man from our area.
It happened near 70th Avenue on the Northern Strip. 50-year-old Timothy Reynolds of Copper Hill in Floyd County died about 4:30 p.m. on Friday after rescuing his wife. Bystanders say they saw the couple screaming for help. That's when he pushed her to shore. But when rescuers went back to get him it was already too late. They attempted CPR, but he was pronounced dead on scene.
