Martinsville, VA - A judge has certified charges against a Martinsville man accused of stabbing a Villa Heights woman to death in June.
36-year-old Dennis Lamont Dorsey had a preliminary hearing on Thursday for second degree murder. He's accused of killing 46-year-old Annette Kaye Turner Vaughn.
Police say Vaughan had called 911, wanting a male friend of hers out of her house. He left when police got there, but two hours later, her neighbors say they heard screams and later found Vaughan lying outside her home, covered in blood.
The grand jury will hear the case in September.
