At UVa, with Peter Lalich gone, the Cavaliers now turn to Marc Verica. He'll make his second start Saturday at noon at Duke.
Against UConn, he was 22 of 30 for 158 yards, and although it came in a 45-10 loss, Verica still has offensive coordinator Mike Groh's vote of confidence.
Marc Verica, UVa Starting QB - "He told me, don't look over your shoulder. This is your team now. Just go out there and relax and be yourself so that's going to be my focus for the rest of the season."
Scott Deke, UVa's Backup QB - "I think he's done a really good job. He's always been a really good student of the game but he's even put that into practice. He's become very accurate. He moves well in the pocket. He can make all the throws he needs to make plus he can move around a lot so he's definitely a dual threat."
