Flag Retiring Ceremony Held

Folks gathered Sunday at the Evington Ruritan Club to retire a flag.
11-year-old Forrest Taylor of Altavista sent us these pictures of Sunday's event.
Boy Scout troop 278 leant a hand, 5th district Delegate Kathy Byron was also there as VFW members explained how to properly fold and dispose of a flag with honor and patriotism.
