From text messages to video games, Barack Obama (web|news|bio) has found a way to reach voters everywhere, even ones playing video games. Obama is the first presidential candidate to buy ad space inside a video game.
18 popular games like Guitar Hero, Madden '09 and Burnout Paradise, will feature ads like these. The signs remind players that early voting has begun, and encourages folks to register to vote. The ads started running earlier this month, and will run through November 3rd.
The Obama campaign says this is a way to get in touch with a hard-to-reach audience -- young men, ages 18 to 34.
